Despite the forced stop of the motorcycle championship because of COVID-19, Milestone did not stop its iteration and non we have the new and updated MotoGP 20 video game.
This kind of games place a lot of value into content: new championship, new roosters, new teams, new cars,…etc. However, because this year was different, Milestone had to come out with something else. They managed to improved the video game in almost all aspects, the result is the best yet MotoGP video game and one of the best ps4 and xbox one racing games ever. MotoGP 20 brings a lot more to the table than licensed teams and crews, but the game is big in content: it brings not only the MotoGP, but also Moto2 and Moto3 races.
In 2019 we saw the revolution of AI and we appreciated the AI players offered by Milestone. Their algorithm, called A.N.N.A., was improved in this 2020 version of the game. The MotoGP 20’s AI is more human than ever tanks to the machine learning that allows computer drivers to adapt and improve. Ai drivers are prone to make more mistakes when in difficult situations, like a human trait. Overall, you will have to face faster and smarter AI racers.
The game is taken to the next level by Milestone. The MotoGP 20 career, is now completely reinvented, rewritten and improved both in form and in substance. We have a more layered and way better designed solution, and the improvements address the issues of new players and experienced players alike.
The most important novelty, something long awaited by many fans, is the possibility of creating a personalized team from scratch. I am looking forward to see the game perform on the new PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles.
MotoGP 20 follows the steps of the previous release and perfected the mechanics of the console game even more.
