Darksiders Genesis welcomes Strife, the Fourth Horseman of Apocalypse
Darksiders Genesis is a Diablo style Darksiders prequel that won’t disappoint! The fans of the game will absolutely love this top-down hack and slash action role-playing videogame! We’ve seen it first on Stadia and Windows PC on December 5, 2019 and this year, on February 14, 2020 the game come out for Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This is a nice spin-off prequel game of the Darksiders series. The developer is Airship Syndicate, and the publisher is THQ Nordic.
For the Darksiders’ fans, this game introduces the Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse, named Strife, as the main protagonist of the video game. In single player mode, players can take either Strife or his brother, called War, but in the co-op mode, both horseman may be unleashed in the same time. It is a great single player game, but I strongly encourage you to play it in co-op mode.
Darksiders Genesis brings back the normality, and the camera is pulled out to become a top-down dungeon crowler like Diablo. This change is an imporvement, as the camera shifting style between third person and top down was rather confusing. While it does not excel in areas like its story, we should remember it is a prequel, the stellar combat, great levels and a new main character in the form of Strife easily make this a great game for the people who like the genre.
The video game was praised for its excellent combat. Darksiders Genesis is not in the buy cheap xbox one games category, but the combat really get people hooked and it is probably the best reason why to purchase it. Players enjoy demon-crunching action, where War is using his giant sword and Strife is a quip gun-wielding menace for the enemies. Fans of the previous games will be acustomerd with War who retain almost all previous moves, and Strife is crafted after Dante from Devil May Cry series. Combat feels great, exploration is always rewarding, and each character gets their chance to shine in both gameplay and story terms.
Darksiders Genesis is one of the best games of the franchise, a strongly recommended game to buy. It is interesting that it a game that brings back the fans, but also extends to newcomers, practically any person who enjoys an isometric dungeons crawlers with co-op support. We should look forward to buy cheap xbox one games and ps4 hack and slash video games. This is a game that will bring a highly rewarding combat experience to players new and old. A strong release, crafted to perfection, already one of the best games this year.
