Dirt Rally
We begin with Dirt Rally, the game released in 2015 by Codemasters (December 7th, 2015). The idea behind this game was to deliver the best off-road racing experience for gamers. The game was released first for PC, than next year (2016) Dirt was released for PS4 and Xbox One. It was nominated for the Best Sports Game BAFTA Award and won the 2016 MCV Award for Sales Triumph. The game was praised at the time as the best racing game and it was also the first attempt of Codemasters to VR technology.
WRC 6
WRC 6 (World Rally Championship 6) was developed by Kylotonn (a French game developing company) and published in 2016 by Bigben interactive for PC than in 2017 (March 3, 2017) for PS4 and Xbox. It is a niche sport and the videogame tried to capture that spirit. WRC 6 was ranked behind the Dirt Rally, but it works as a companion game, having long stages, different cars and still having high rankings. Overall, not a bad game, rather a good videogame, even if outclassed by Dirt Rally of Codemasters. It is nevertheless one of the cheapest videogame in the selection and it definitely worth the money.
Assetto Corsa
Assetto Corsa means “Race Setup” in Italian. It is a simulator racing game developed by Kunos Simulazioni (an Italian game developing company). The game was released in 2013 through Steam Early Access and the xbox one and playstation 4 versions come out in 2016 (August 26, 2016). Assetto Corsa is heavy on simulation, offering a realistic driving experience, various race cars and different roads. Emphasis on simulation: it is truly accurate on tyre deformation and friction models, things not that important on other racing games. It is a beautiful game, featuring on different game selections of games magazines all over the world.
Gran Turismo Sport
Gran Turismo Sport is the 13th game in the Gran Turismo series, a racing video game developed by Polyphony Digital and released by Sony Entertainment for PS4 in 2017 (October 17, 2017). Gran Turismo Sport has two modes: “sport mode” and “arcade mode”, so it may cater two both kind of racing players. Gran Turismo Sport is big in online competitions. There are two championships annually: the Nation Cup, where players represent countries, and the Manufacturers Cup, where players represent manufacturers. The videogame received good reviews and was ranked high on the majority of game websites. It is a great game, with exceptional graphics that will make you enjoy the beautiful cars running on these classes.
MotoGP 19
We have included one video game for bike racing enthusiasts. MotoGP 19 was developed by Italian company Milestone and it was re;eased for PS4, Xbox One and PC (June 27, 2019), also Nintendo Switch. It is an astonishing game that includes interesting developments, like the “Historical Challenges”, where you can do more than witness history, you may determine it course by playing those races yourself. It has the 2019 racing rooster, with all teams and racers. You can run on all the tracks of the Moto GP Championship, play standalone, career mode, historical races, multiplayer locally or online. Team Sonic Racing

Team Sonic Racing was developed by Sega and released in 2019 (May 21, 2019) for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch. It is kart racing at its best, pure entertainment and now requires cooperative gameplay. With 21 tracks, 15 characters and a variety of game mods, including your own racing rules customization, this is a game that will hook you up.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
CTR (Crash Team Racing) is an arcade kart racing game developed by Beenox and published by Activision in June 2019 (June 21, 2019) for PS4, Xbox and Switch. The initial CTR was developed by Naughty Dog in 1999, the latest release being a remake of that one and various other games of the series. CTR features characters from the Crash Bandicoot series, it has all the 31 race tracks from Crash Team Racing and Crash Nitro Kart and some new additions and improvements. The game has two adventure modes: “Classic”, that plays similar to the initial game from ’99 and “Nitro-Fueled”, where players can switch and customize characters between races. There is also a multiplayer mode and some online events. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled could be considered a family game and it is super-fun for kids.
DiRT Rally 2.0
The latest version of the renewed racing video game DiRT Rally is Dirt Rally 2.0. The game is developed by Codemasters and released by the same company (developed and published by Codemasters) on February 2019 for PS4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows (all launched at February 26, 2019). This is the 7th title carrying the name Dirt. As its predecessors, it is a racing game of simulation type with a focus on rallying and rallycross. It has various updates and upgrades, like the number of cars, now getting at fifty, and the number of tracks, now including World Rallycross Supercars and eight FIA World Rallycross Championship circuits. But the best improvement is probably the new weather modelling system that affect the grip and visibility. Also, the road surface changes with passing of the cars over the tracks, as it should be, affecting the grip and changing the drivers approach to the race. DiRT Rally 2.0 is the best rally game and one of the best automotive simulation games available.
Project Cars 2
Project CARS 2 is a brilliant simulation racer best adapted for playing on the wheel. It is a very ambitious project in scope and depth. For example, it has 189 cars to chose from and you can run on 140 tracks located in 60 different places in the world. The game was developed by Slightly Mad Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment on September 22, 2017 for ps4, xbox one and pc. The game has something for everyone, also it has some distinguishable features, like the support for VR (virtual reality), triple screen support and resolution up to 12k. This is an excellent single player or multiplayer video game of racing simulation that may need some extra polishing and suffer of scattering the content all over the place. All things considered, it rewards the players through realism and the extent of the content, so you are getting plenty for the money.
F1 2019
Another game from Codemasters is F1 2019. It is the eleventh game of the F1 franchise and its main focus is obviously the Formula One Championship. With this release, there are some upgrades and the most important one is probably the addition of Formula 2 Championship. Now you can start your career mode in F2 and move on to F1 with experience and achievements. It also introduced drivers transfer, which gives players the ability to form unexpected developments. There were introduced to fictional drivers (Lukas Weber and Devon Butler) that graduate to F1 alongside the player. Certainly, it has all the drivers, teams and tracks of 2019 Formula One Championship (it is also the official game of F1 Championship). This is an amazing racing game and Codemasters managed to reinvent the game in a good degree by the addition of Formula 2 cars, the new career mode and drivers swaps. It was well received by critics and public. For example, in UK it reached the second position on sales chart. The game was developed, released and distributed by Codemasters starting June 28, 2019.
